Camp Descriptions

All camps feature an opportunity for specific instruction in the week’s particular activity and an opportunity to participate in the activity from 9-4 PM. All camps also feature an interactive Bible hour, challenging personal devotions times, fun group games, interesting activities, and much more. A half day option from 9-1 PM is available for all weeks.

New Camps in 2017

GYMNASTICS – Get ready to jump, run, and tumble. Each day will feature specific instruction in the basics of gymnastics.

CONSTRUCTION ZONE – Pound, glue, and measure for this camp.  Each day will feature an opportunity to build a project. Past projects included a bird house or solar cooker.

Other Camps

BASKETBALL & SOCCER CAMP- Each day will feature specific instruction in basketball, soccer, or volleyball and an opportunity to enhance skills as well as play in team competition.

SPORTS SAMPLER #1 AND #2 – Each day features a different sport and an opportunity to receive instruction and play the selected sport of the day.

Sports Sampler #1 features football, basketball, volleyball and soccer.

Sports Sampler #2 offers baseball, track and field, lacrosse, and tennis.

DRAMA CAMP – Each day will feature an opportunity to learn about drama and acting as well as an opportunity to perform in front of the parent/guest audience at the end of the week.

OUTDOOR/NATURE CAMP – Each day will feature training in such topics as building a campfire, setting up a tent, identifying trees/leaves, fishing, and identifying bugs. Visits from the zoo and the Bug Man are always camper favorites for this week.

ARTS & CRAFTS – Each day will feature an arts & crafts project as well as an opportunity to learn about painting, drawing, etc.

ROBOTICS CAMP – Each day will feature an opportunity to build and program robots. Campers do not need any robotics knowledge prior to coming.

OVERNIGHT CAMP – A fun filled week of swimming, canoeing, sports, and much more where campers stay overnight from Sunday–Friday. This takes place at Camp Joy in Dent, MN.

“ALL SUMMER” CAMPERS – A week for kids who have attended at least one week of camp during the summer. Programming to be chosen by the campers.
