CEF of Fargo/Moorhead is local chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship that seeks to reach children in the Fargo, Moorhead, Dilworth, and West Fargo areas. In the 2015-2016 school year, we reached over 1200 children with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Doug Sikkink has been the local director of CEF since November of 2009. He is passionate about reaching children for Christ and loves communicating the basic truths of the gospel in a way that children can understand. He holds a B.A in Secondary Education for English from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN and is a graduate of the Children’s Ministry Institute (www.cefcmi.com) in Warrenton, MO. Previously, he spent 14 years working as a camp director at Grindstone Lake Bible Camp in Sandstone, MN. He and his wife, Sue, live in Fargo and have three children, Luke (8) and Joey (5), and Bekah (2).
Shari Wagner has been the Director of Advancement since April 2012. She
loves to connect with the supporters of the ministry. Shari and her husband, Mark, have lived in Fargo since 1997 and have 4 kids. Linnea is 18, Lauren is 16, Levi is 14, and Lawson is 10. Shari has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD and did her Master’s work in Community Counseling at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Her daughters, Lauren and Linnea, are counselors with Camp Good News.
Zack Staeffler has been the local Ministry Coordinator of CEF since September of 2016. He loves spending time and teaching children of all ages. He is active as a middle school Sunday school teacher and helps with the youth group at Red River church in West Fargo. He holds a B.S. in Zoology from North Dakota State University. Upon graduating from college he attended Youth With a Mission down in Ozark, AR and completed his outreach in Cahul, Moldova. He has worked as a counselor at Camp Good News the last three summers and before that worked at the Chahinkapa zoo in Wahpeton ND.
